Sandra's Story
HI CLASS OF '86..Wow!!!! Happy to share I'm happily married to my 2nd husband for 13 yrs..Have a blended family as follows..David,my 25yo stepson who served USA Marines who recently married.. I have a dghtr Amanda 20yo full of many talents..she is a published author of poems since age 13, also musically talented & plays violin,clarinet,keyboard, & guitar,& was in varsity choir. Our youngest dghtr, Nikki 9yo with my 2nd husband, does very well with gymnastics & pretty much loves to do anything..we belong to a wonderful church & I teach Sunday school. I'm LPN over 15 yrs & love working with geriatrics & DD. I went to Oaxaca, MX with 13 other gals from our church as Missionary working & helping orphans. What an awesome experience. I'm on a pool league via DNR STAR for over 20 yrs & love it. However, I cut back a little these past 2yrs & shoot part time due to a busy life. We own a nice hom...Expand for more
e with 5 acres in the country in Faribault, MN. We have a few animals: 25 rabbits, 8 outdoor cats, & our black lab "Shadow".. I was diagnosed with a rare type of genetic brain defect 9 yrs ago known as Arnold-Chiari ..Had migraine headaches since age 6. Few yrs ago they manifested into stronger/intense headaches requiring trips to the ER. There really is no true cure,,unless i opt for brain surgery down the road someday..but there is no guarantee it will cure me,,I thank God though that it does not affect my memory or thought process, But, I am thankful in all circumstances as the Bible teaches us to be. I love life & the people who have been a part of it . My journey only continues to get better each day!
